It's my first day today :)
South beach diet was sort of a bust for me it didn't seem to work. Come to think of it neither did Atkins ... downloaded this today. I am committed to sticking to exercising. I think thats key for me :). I'd like to be fit and solid. not so worried about the scale. counting calories is key also. I'm 46 I need to get it right this time. I want to make it to 86!

Had Baja Fresh today ... Holy mother of tortillas I had no idea how many calories that is!! So I ate half for lunch and half for dinner and still ok for the day

I loved Atkins but the induction is bad the first time worse the next time. I did REALLY well for a year and then travel killed me. Protein is NOT cheap. These diets only work if you can maintain the carb/protein ratio. Hard to do if you drink or fast food it. Good luck!

If you're an A that's why low carb isn't working, As thrive on carbs and vegetarian diets. Since you've tried 2 low carb diets unsuccessfully it might be worth checking out. Check out eating right for your blood type. But regardless keep up the pursuit! You'll hit your goals. ♡

Wow ! I didn't even know that mattered! I was a vegetarian for five years up into the 6th month of my pregnancy (and then someone was going to get stabbed if I didn't get a cheeseburger!!) never went back after that... And carbs are my middle name I think ... Or is it cake? Or chocolate? Seems to be one of those. I will research right away and thanks again!

Wow! Definitely look into it. I'm an O and low carb is the ONLY way I can get to my goal weights and stay there. Damn potatoes! They'll be the fat of me. Lol

hi, im an O to. I haven't tried the low carb diet until now, I mean never thought before that bread was making me fat, I thought i was eating ok, the weight just creeped up on me. I reckon everyone is different though. I am working out alot and trying to stay low carb as I can but Im not giving up on some things like a hot cup of milo once a day, that is my treat. Im enjoying the change, I think I,ve lost around 3 kgs in 3 weeks, which is pretty good considering I don't lose weight easily as I used to
