Because I take medication daily for mental health weight loss is really difficult. I've learned I lose best with a fasting protocol. I started a new fasting routine.

I am fasting Sunday to Wednesday [water fast.] Then Wednesday to Saturday do 20:4 fast eating lower carbs in a four hour eat window. I allow any thing I want to eat though I try to keep mainly to lower carbs. But if I want pizza, or ice cream I have it. Mainly its to be in a calorie deficit.

With over 100 lbs of ample fat to spare the 96 hour water fast will help deplete body stores. It does take some mental strength to push through the fasting days, but with practice I am learning to manage a body that is not satiated.
218.8 lb Lost so far: 30.8 lb.    Still to go: 78.8 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

You are on the right track! I set up a 3 day fat fast challenge in 7 days if you want to check it out. Never did one before and would need support for sure. ..

FloridaAngel I spent the last months doing fat fasts. They were extremely effective but to change things up started water fasting. I could join your fat fast challenge, but just do water..lol. Support is always needed!!

I would do 1000 calorie days. For four days. I never dropped on day five, so I would only do 4 days. Here would be a day: 1 egg w/ mayo, 2 oz tuna w/ mayo, 1 havarti cheese wrapped 1 bacon, 1/2 oz macadamia nuts w/ 1 oz cream cheese. If calories allowed I could do fat coffee: HWC w/ butter and sugar free coffee syrup. On the norm I would lose 3.8 lbs, but regain about .5 lb to 1.5 lbs. I would fast 1 to 2x a month. And the rest of the time do low carb. What about you FloridaAngel?

FloridaAngel - you will LOVE the fat fast! well, you might dislike the food, but you'll love the results! Deborah382's menu and experience is similar to mine -though i ate more avocado smashed with cream cheese and tabasco (cuz i love avocados).
