Today I am starting a new approach to achieving weight loss. By the recommendation of my nutritionist, I have been limiting my self to 1200 calories per day as well as maintain a pie chart of 40% protein - 40% carb - 20% fat.

Unfortunately this hasn't been working so well for me and not only have I been hungry, I haven't been losing any weight! I think I felt to stressed over it all the time.

So, by the recommendation of another FB buddy I am trying the "Diet Solution Program" This definitely seems more manageable as a life long change. I am excited to give this a try. And to start it off, I enjoyed 2 slices of bacon for breakfast! :)

I truly believe that the hardest part is finding a plan that suits each of us as individuals while giving us the results we need, but at the same time be sustainable for long term! Hopefully "The Diet Solution" will be that for me!!! :)

Hi Mama Cracker, I too believe that the hardest part is finding a plan that suits each of us individually, while giving us the results we need, and being a plan that we can live on for life! I just finished my 90 day challenge with Body By Vi and counting calories all at the same time. I lost 22 lbs,& 10.5 inches! I have been on a plateau for a few weeks now and I know exercise will be the key to breaking it! Meanwhile I am down to 1 shake for breakfast and counting calories for the rest of my day! I can't understand why I'm not losing any faster, my RDI is 1400 calories per day (without exercise) and I limit my caloric intake to 1000 to 1100 per day! Maybe I need more calories? Confused, Joyce
