started swimming laps yesterday. it's been 14 years since i've swum competitively. hard to believe i used to do that for 3-4 hours a day. I managed 500 yards the first day and 700 the second in 14 minutes. i'm working my way up to a mile which is about 1650 yards. a 2 min 100 pace is what i'm holding and that's pretty good. i do the swimming first and then the rest of the workout i would normally do. i'm hoping i can just trick my body into burning more calories.
