Merry Christmas to anyone reading this. Christmas is only a few days away, hard to believe this year is almost over.

My eating hasn't been the greatest lately as the company has been providing lunches since we are working through them nearly everyday. Then lots of things needing to be done after work so I've mostly been eating chili made early in the week. Easy to heat up. Tracking is good as it helps me focus on what I'm doing or not doing. I definitely need more veggies. I've also been eating more meat (chicken and turkey) than I usually do.

I did manage to get some exercise in TRX videos, ice skating, and walking on the gazelle 4 mornings before work. One morning I overslept.

The weekend will be finishing up Christmas stuff, some normal chores, making salt scrub (for gifts and me), also experimenting with making some all natural diffusers and toughening up my fingers to start learning how to play a guitar (something I've wanted to do since high school). My old guitar is re-strung and tuned as of this morning.

Thanks Glen and Snow!! Glen I also have not much musical ability, but what the h&%&^%ll. I'm 66 give it a try again. LOL At least with the electronic tuners now I can actually tune the dang thing, never could before. If I can learn to play this kid's cheapy beginner guitar maybe I'll spring for a decent one after tax returns in March. Time will tell.

I play piano, organ and accordian. I tried guitar but hurt my fingers, so gave that one up. My dad was deaf and could play anything. He played by vibration. Good luck with your music and Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas, Jeri, and good luck with the guitar! My uke pupil was written off by his previous teacher, but he is improving each week. It just takes practice. Start with 15-20 minutes each day, if you can, then more when your fingers are able.

Merry Christmas, Jeri, and as if you aren't busy enough ... you are going to learn how to play the guitar, too. You are one amazing woman!

Mom, I just have so many things that I want to learn and do. It's just me and the critters so why not? After the holidays it's back to slowly working on my house. I'm also really good at wasting time doing not much of anything. Like this am 2 hours on the computer. LOL

The combination of chocolate protein powder, protein rich peanut butter, and a little bit of sugar free butterscotch pudding mix makes a guilt free shake that tastes exactly like a liquified butterfinger candy bar
