I've started making apple and banana chips in the oven...I figured out that when I really want something crunchy to snack on, these are a really healthy alternative to chips. I've also tried to give up sodas, but I get headaches from not having the caffeine, so I'm trying to gradually stop drinking them. I think today will be my last day to have a full coke.
206.6 lb Lost so far: 2.4 lb.    Still to go: 46.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

those sound yummy! I will definitely have to try those...maybe add some cinnamon to them

Yeah, yesterday I added some cinnamon and sugar on top and they turned out i'm trying them without it. They're really easy, all you do is slice the apples realllllly thin, sprinkle them with lemon juice, then pop em in the oven for 2 hours, and turn them over every half hour. Also, I lined my cookie sheet with foil and they didn't stick to it as much as they did without foil.

Oh, and if you want to put cinammon on em, do it before they go in the oven!...and after they come out of the oven, seal them in an airtight container! :)

I hear ya about the no-caffeine headaches. I'm used to having so much, I've already got a headache and I started my "diet" today. It'll be best in the long run. I drink mainly diet soda, but I'm just trying to limit to 1 a day now. Haven't had an urge to grab one all day today though! :)

Yay! congratulations!! I ended up giving in at dinner time, but i had a kid's size soda, so I feel a little better about
