Thanksgiving is this Thursday and I'm debating to go to the dinner or not lol I have to avoid the food or I know that i will over eat :( I lost 77 pounds so far but have to work harder for the last 40

yes, its a hard time of year. On one hand, its nice to celebrate with family friends. On the other, you don't want to gain and get out of control with the food. You also can't spend the rest of your life avoiding holidays, because that wouldn't be much fun. I think we have to remember it's one meal. You know you have the discipline to lose. My plan is to workout in the morning. Eat a high protein, low calorie breakfast. Then I will eat till i'm satisfied (not full). I'm going for a walk after the meal. I'm going to have one small slice of chocolate pie. The hardest part for me is that i'm a picker. I go in and nibble on this and that. So I try and use up everything as quickly as possible.

I agree with Suzi, remember it is just one meal. If you can take something you know is good for you to eat that will help. Then put the stuff that is good for you on your plate FIRST. Then maybe just have one bite of the other stuff. There are all kinds of ways to do it, just have a plan and stick to it. Then get right back on your food plan that night. You can do it.
