I am really struggling.......having health problems.......thought I was just going to.... Quit.....But look what 2 weeks has done......Doc wants me to go off Atkins and try calorie counting ...today is my first day back...will weigh again Monday and see how I am doing
212.2 lb Lost so far: 38.8 lb.    Still to go: 27.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hang in there, Atkins can be harsh if you're already unwell, i find Calorie counting much easier once you get into it, a little bit of everything you want rather than total deprivation :) Hope you feel better soon

I heard Atkins is not the healthiest. I love calorie counting as it makes me more aware of what I'm eating.

Calorie counting with minimal carbs helps me be aware of how I am spending my calories. The high carb items are often not as satisfying as 2 cups of steamed veggies are and yet the calorie costs may be the same. Good luck.

Hang it there, girl!! I know how hard everything is when your health is not good. But you have lost 39 pounds and that has to help. You may have to switch things around a little and get creative until your health returns. But you can do this!!

wt was at 290lb in sept 11th, im know at 255 lbs my goal is to get to 175 lbs i fix my own meals and Weight them out in grams and read a lot about nurtion im also a heart pation and type 2 Diabetic ,just think postive
