Hit a plateau...no gain/loss this week at all, but will take it i suppose. I did all correctly! Exercised 5 days in a row M-Fri & did either the min or above/beyond each day. Also only had alcoholic beverages Fri/Saturday to avoid empty calories. Fingers crossed for better results next week :)

You might find that you loose more next week. My weight loss has gone like that a couple of times.... In fact most people have had a zero weight loss, even a weight gain, and then started loosing again. :-)

Thanks! I know...i try not to get discouraged & just keep plugging away at it. Perhaps the two nights i did have a few alcoholic beverages there was too much sodium in those Red Beers - lol! The salt and lime added makes them so darn tasty though! LOL!

I read somewhere that, because alcohol is a "toxic" substance (to our bodies anyway lol) when we drink, our livers or kidneys, are so busy getting rid of the toxins, they don't have time to process and get rid of the waste stuff for the rest of the food we eat - so it gets "stored". So although alcohol is not hugely calorific, it is the effect it has on our bodies processing system, that puts on the weight. Don't know if it is a scientific fact - but it makes sense. When I used to drink a LOT more, plus drank quite a bit of coffee - my ankles, legs and hands would bloat up. So I gave up coffee lol and they were a bit better. Disgusting what we do to our bodies - I am surprised mine hasn't given up on me the abuse I put it through.
