Ok I admit it. I am not going to lose weight if I eat more than 1450 calories per day. How long have I known this? -- oh, forever. I think I have to give myself a break over the holidays... No.. I don't mean just do whatever I pleased... but with all the socializing I think my goal should be to hold fast to where I am right now and now worry so much about losing over the next 8 weeks. and I think I need to stay off the scale. I've always known this about myself: I am better off with no scale in the house at all and just weighing in at the doctor's occasionally. The bouncing up and down really aggravates me.
176.6 lb Lost so far: 57.4 lb.    Still to go: 34.6 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

i used to weigh myself everyday it drove me crazy so six weeks ago i threw scale out i started eating healthy no processed foods and some exercise. i weighed myself today at grocery store and lost 14lbs first weight lose in 8yrs your clothes will let you know too i now only weigh myself every six weeks

Maintaining is a great goal with the Holidays here - and yes, avoid the scale - drink some water every time you think of weighing!

I like that drinking water idea. But I think I also need to put the scale away in the closet so it's truly inconvenient to get it out to weigh myself.
