Perhaps if you ate kibble and played fetch more... :) 

LOL Had a roommate in college and my best high school friend who loved munching on dog biscuits. She grew up with cats no dogs. Not my thing. I think of her often. Lost her to breast cancer few years ago. She still makes me smile.  

Grins. She loves to run and races around the back yard often. You can see her joy when she is running  

Awww! It's that great wholesome food you feed her! You also have to remember ... you were fit when that young too. Ha! 

LOL I wish I had her energy!!! 

At 128 you have a tire? Good Grief - are you only 5' tall? Just seems wrong, life is not fair, what does a girl have to do around here, etc. etc. etc. Okay - finished groaning, embracing the pain, and sharing your dismay. What is your plan? 

Hmm, that doesn't seem fair! 

I think we all wish we had the energy and joy that our pets have when they play or the peace they seem to have when sleeping. 

Your vet is right -- when other dog owners see Jake, they assume I'm 'underfeeding' him . . . yet he's been the same weight since being 'full-grown' (give or take just 2-3 lbs.) and of course he sees a vet at least once a year for a check-up and they've NEVER suggested he needed fattening up! 

soonsoonsoon, yup still have the muffin top. I keep working on it with lots of core and abs, it's slowly getting smaller. Challenge from 15 yo GD is me with a 6 pack by next summer LOL Also workin on these granny wings.  

where does your dog work out ? bwahahahahahaha JK JK  

MMMM just the back yard LOL She runs and runs dang fast, has a track worn. Has to keep track of the neighborhood and the woods behind the house. Now also in the house with the puppy Pepper.

actually a colleague of mine stays very fit walking her big dogs  

Pepper goes to the vet today for a puppy check and shot. She is 3 months. No energy for me this am stayed trying to make it to the end of the World series game 1. I gave up after 13 innings. Leigh, if pups are fit and healthy they are where they need to be as well. Mine always have food available, get training treats and dog biscuits. No junk food.
