For the last week, I have been back to keeping my carbs between 20-50 gm/day. Thought I was going to have a difficult time this weekend because we got invited to a friend's 60th birthday bash. When we got there, I was delighted to find out that it was a catered Southern Barbecue! There was chicken, pulled pork, brisket, and sausages, along with corn bread, baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, and rolls. For dessert there was berry cobbler and birthday cake. She also made Southern cocktails: Mint Juleps, Lynchburg Lemonade, and Scarlet O'Hara's. I limited my plate to the meats and pickles only. No dessert (I helped myself to another portion of pulled pork instead) and only seltzer water to drink. So happy that I was able to stay on plan and still have a great time.

Think I have lost a lot of water weight this week so hopefully the scale will show it for tomorrow's weigh in!
