Anjie92's Journal, 06 October 2015

This week I am feeling demotivated. In the last week, I have not lost any weight and have only lost an overall 3cm. The weight around my abdomen just does not seem to be moving. I am eating clean and I have not cheated. Not even on weekends. No sugar, no wheat. With this being such a drastic change from my diet before the challenge, I expected better results. One thing I do know I have not put enough effort in is my water consumption. I am not drinking more than about a litre a day and I know I need to drink way more. Exercising has has been difficult because I am still getting over my bronchitis. I was put onto steroids (cortisone) for 5 days ( took my last tablet on Friday) and im wondering if that has something to do with the lack of weight/cm loss. Going to push through but sheesh, this is difficult when you dont get results!

Don't give up Anj! You have been seeing great results thus far! Perhaps try and choose foods off the meal builder. Keep up the great work! You can do this... don't let a little bump in the road tip you over! xoxo

I've heard that cortison plays havoc on your system. Give your body some time to flush it out. Then again, like you said, you're not having enough water. Try having 500ml first thing in the morning before you have your breakfast. Also remember, there are herbal teas that allow for an increase in water consumption. I'm a big fan of green tea, rooibos and lemon & lime. These help to increase your water consumption. And of course, I have a rule that I never take water back home. I finish my bottle of water at work before I leave. Little changes.
