My eye procedure went well was very sore Wednesday but better now I'm still not seeing better but she said that would take a few days & may not be complete until I have the retina surgery. Thank you all for your prayers.

Got my hip X-ray results yesterday it looked pretty good so the pain is either coming from my back or bursitis. It has improved some since he changed my meds some but I can't keep taking them this way because all I want to do is sleep. He also wants me to come back in for a shot in it. But at least it's feeling better I'll see how that goes when I do more acativites.

I tried something different for breakfast this morning I'd like to get off eggs and only have them occasionally. I've used them so much because I'm not a big meat eater, I do eat meat but sometimes I want a meat free meal and I'm not very fond of beef. I think I need to change things up a little for my body to get a little jolt.

Has anyone on LCHF had any luck with loosing weight if they add beans (not green) to their diet. You get protein and fiber from them, I'd like to try some in place of meat but wanted you guys opinion first.

We used to make our own refried beans using Pinto Beans and I couldn't make their macros fit into my LC <20g carb/day. They're absolutely incredible but I just can't loose weight while eating them. Maybe it was my frequency, not sure... I would suggest checking the Fat/Pro/Carb macros and see if they fit what you're trying to accomplish.

Beans of all types have a lot of carbs - it just depends how strict you are being with your carb counts. The high fat also is important for ketosis - do you like avocado? it is all fiber and also have the good fats.

There are vegetarian options for low carb, right? I would look into that. Google it. I am a meat eater so I dunno. :o) So glad your surgery went well and your hip x-ray was good. Hugs!
