My grandmother, bless her heart, sabatoges my diet. Last night I had prepared a health dinner of chicken with vegetable soup. Right before I had dinner, those minutes where I am hungriest, she brought me meatballs with gravy, rice and peas. Fortunately, there was only one meatball that I quickly consumed. The peas, rice and gravy were so delicious. I almost wanted to ditch my soup for it. Instead, I threw most of the rice and pea mixture away. It was sad doing that and I still feel sad today! Oh how I cannot stand wasting food.
