OMG I hurt! Bending the knee to the kings of the floor is killing me. IE kneeling and applying, scraping, scrubbing the floors in 2x6-8 foot sections 30-40 mins at a shot the with the stripper only to be followed with 10 mins or more of neutralizing the stuff with mineral spirits. I hurt and While it is exercise I am still feeling the swelling and aching and pain associated. I know that means not only water being retained in muscles but joints and I feel like I can barely move this AM. But I still have more than a third of the floor to strip yet and then I will follow with the 2 types of sanding 60 and 100 grit again on bended knee. Advil is going to champion my day. And Yes I have taken turmeric, cinnamon and ginger. Before bed and to start the day again. But I am still in pain.

So I am off. Back to the grind.

Just think of how many calories you are burning, maybe the scale won't show the complete weight loss because of your sore muscles retaining water but physical work is good for us.

more of the same and this is hardwood floors next project is tiling the hall and making it waterproof. ... I have hired out a lot of things and I could have done this but if I had the money to pay for it. So it falls on me. Hubby has to keep the shop running while I do this and the kids out of my hair. He is helping with this morning heavy lifting.

Kelly, so sorry you are hurting and as usual you are probably on a time crunch. I can't kneel so have to do things like that sitting on the floor, the oblique get a workout, too. I'm not looking forward to tackling the wood floors once I get the kitchen done at least I won't have any deadlines, no heat issue to worry about for one as it's forced air gas.

THANK GOD! The stripping is done. Wow that sounded bad. THe floor stripping is done. I have 1-2 days of sanding now to do but at least most of that I can do sitting on my rear and not on my knees. And I can put the vivofit back on YAY! I have no clue on my steps for 2 days. I know I have gotten a workout in I FEEL that. Too much so. Right now it is not bad but I know I will feel it again in the morning.
