I am tired of being fat. Really, really tired of it. More than that, I am tired of making excuses and allowing myself to be this way. There are so many things I don't do each day. Things that I know I need to do, I just don't. It's not the lack of time as I try to convince myself and others that it is, it's really just me being lazy. Good god I hate that word. Nothing sends my anger off quite like someone using the word lazy in my direction. It is hard for me to say that is the case in my life. Of course there isn't enough time, I don't start my day at a decent hour. Of course everything hurts, I am packing around an extra 110 pounds on this medium sized frame. Nothing changes, if nothing changes. This is me changing. I can't wait to see who and what I unfold to be.

We all get to the point where we are ready to make changes. Make small positive changes you can live with the rest of your life. Planning and consistency are key. Get the food part down first, then slowly add activity in. You can get some great workout dvds that take 30 minutes or less. Leslie Sansones videos are a great way to slowly begin (Walk Away The Pounds). Not everyone likes the gym. My sister lost a lot of weight just slapping on a pedometer and aiming for 10,000 steps a day. She would walk around her house when it was cold out, lol! But it made her focus more. You start with 3x a week. We can all find 30 min, 3x a week. Get plenty of lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies. Olive oil and avocados (in moderation) are good fats that help us lose. Track all your food honestly. Find a plan you can live with and work it. Good luck!
