At least no surgery, I bet you're annoyed with the whole situation, understandable. Hopefully you can still enjoy the long weekend.

So glad no surgery - you will have to change your routine to walking or lower body work, ehh? OR just rest yourself!

U can do those muscle tensing exercises :) forget their name. U just focus on an area - upper arm, butt etc , then tense /relax/ tense /relax.Tense as hard as possible , relax fully. Do it as fast as possible. Beats doing nothing while you can't exercise normally. Promotes body awareness & burns a few calories too ! :)

What happened? Did you fall off your bike?

Hi Scalewatcher3
It started raining while on a ride, I found a very slick spot on the pavement and went down.
Since I wear bike cleats I couldn't get my foot down quickly enough.
I hit solid on my hip and shoulder.

Hi Eddowning1, Wow, that is a very painful looking bruise. I can only imagine how bad your hip looks and feels. I'm so glad you didn't break the skin or bones. Last year, my husband fell off his bike after crashing into my bike and tore up his leg so bad we had to go to the ER and then 6 weeks of follow up with with a doctor. Take Care.
