First week in the gym complete and it was awesome . 11 weeks for this program to go, But I need to plan on the rest of my life in the Gym . I hope its a long time :-) . I will see tomorrow if it affected my weight loss at all,, I didn't lift to heavy this week only 60% of my 1 RM and haven't been to overly sore,, so I am hoping I still lose a little . I feel good , Lets keep this going . Strength training is like youth in a Bottle . I hope :-). Blessings to you all,, make it a good one.

YAY 4 u! Don't start focusing on your "weight". As I have shared with another friend, paying attention to your weight, and if you have lost any, is a misnomer for health. Burning fat is your goal and, as long as you are in the gym and active, on some level, you are doing that. I have been utilizing my gym now for about 3-4 months and, I very rarely weigh myself. I pay more attention to how intense my workout it and how much I sweat.
Don't sweat the small stuff.. (pun intended) and everything will fall into play. Keep up the good work. ;)

First week! good job! expect some water retention until your body adapts to the shock. Also, if you're eating enough protein and not cutting a ton of calories, your weight loss MAY stall for a while. Weight training complicates the equation if you rely on the scale for proof of progress. You would actually be better off taking the number on the scale with a grain of salt while weight training. Your body is made up of much more than just muscle and fat after all.

those 12 weeks will fly by .... before your know it will be 2nd nature. Focus on how your clothes fit bc as your muscle turns to fat you may not lose a lot at 1st, this is what keeps me going... Im more focused on my size 14's than the idiot box. Way to go!

@redgirl1974 I believe she meant to say as your fat burns off and you start to see more muscle tone.. I may be wrong but, just in case. ;)
