Today my carbs are not on track. It was hard to eat/eat correctly while at the hospital saying goodbye to my grandfather. I had planned to start keto today but I did not plan on taking my grandfather off of life support. Therefore I'm not worried about my eating. I think I did great all things considered. I didn't eat enough for breastfeeding but I did as well as I could manage. I made peanut butter coconut fat bombs tonight so hopefully my carbs will be on track tomorrow. Really looking forward to getting back into ketosis.

So sorry about your grandfather. I was feeling awful yesterday. Something I ate or a flu bug, not sure. I had 24g carbs and worked out but my fasting blood sugar this morning is awfully high. I had to take the meds. Not happy about that. I have an appointment with my Endocrinologist next week. I must ask him why Dawn Phenomenon goes nuts on a low carb diet. Maybe it is my protein shake. It has sucralose in it. Hmmmm
