Stressed out is an understatement. Lacking in sleep to cope well. IBS is flaring due to stress. Not feeling like doing anything but will do it anyway. Putting the blinders on and searching for my git 'r done attitude. If anyone finds it let me know. SMH Too tired to think and I have to get cracking on work. Probably no walk again today 3 days in a row but getting the work done is priority 1 if I can do that then I get time to walk.

Sorry to hear about all the stress. I hope it all resolves itself quickly and to your satisfaction. Try to let it not derail your eating. You'll get through it.

Hang in there, Kelly. Slow it down and take a reasonable pace.

I just want to be done with the reno and caught up with work then the family and other BS stuff would not be so stressful. I feel pulled 50 directions at once. It's exhausting. Makes it hard to focus. I will stay the path on food because that is too important to let a bad day or even 10 take me from those goals. I just want room to breathe without someone else demanding I have to do more. 5 days til school starts, 12 days to convention trip, 3 days of total travel and 4 days of convention. Then I am back to just the renovation to complete and maybe by October I will see real normalcy and real routine resume... one that I can dictate and begin to live again and stress should then reduce. It is just hard to see the light at the end of this long tunnel.

Strong post. Consider this; you won't have to worry about ever getting Alzheimer's.

It is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it's there. I too suffer from IBS, goes hand in hand with my anxiety issues. Immodium works wonders. Anywho, remember to focus on the things you can control. Your diet and exercise are your choices. The storm will pass and you'll be stronger for it. Sending you positive vibes, be well. :)

You have been in this tunnel so long, you have probably forgotten what light looks like! I admire how you can keep your food focus when so many other things are demanding your attention. I hope you are feeling better and that you get a moment or two to get outside and breathe some fresh air today.

when can have no control over other things control what you can. Food I can control. Little else is possible. Work takes as long as it takes same with the reno... kids not so much... stupidity - that I am at a loss for how to control.

Don't forget to breathe and make time for yourself too (even if you insist on doing work first)-- you're just as important! Even if it's a short trip out for a walk or reward on getting your day done it can do wonders for a stressed out mood :)
