My weight has stayed the same for three consecutive mornings. So I think that it is time to take it to the next level and see if I can jump start this drop to 179 pounds.
Today will be a start. Had 1 serving Quaker steel cut oats cooked in water with a little milk and margerine added, along with a few raisins. About 250 calories is my guess. Quarter cup dry with splash of milk and other things added after cooking.
Then I rode the exercycle 30 minutes burning 211 calories per the display.
Had a tbs of peanut butter and a third of a glass of regular milk and then for lunch a small Wendy's chili, around 225-240 calories.
Tonight I will go to Alberto's for a fish taco with extra lettuce which will be filling.
Then of course before bedtime I will close with the pb and milk trick.
I should wake up tomorrow a little lighter on the scale.
Call me foolish but I gave away 5 pairs of like new slacks, two with the waist size 38 and three size 36, as I received three pairs today that I ordered with a 34 inch waist. I am putting my money on the line that I will stay at this new waist size which I am sure hasn't been worn by me at least since my early 30's and I just turned 61 in June!

Almost everything you listed is processed food from a jar, box or a fast food joint and probably loaded with sodium, which leads to water retention. How about a salad instead of a fish taco (with its 1 leaf of lettuce shredded up)? Congrats on ditching the fat clothes!

Unfortunately I am a shuttle bus driver with a very limited amount of time to go get food. The Alberto's is a block away via an alley instead of getting out into the road construction. So I eat what I can. Fish taco vs a double quarter pounder with cheese from the McD's across the street- I think that it is an improvement from my bad old days. When I get tired of it, I go for their tamales which are delicious.
I am not a purist and am doing the best I can all things considering. Since my pre diabetes diagnosis on 4/15/15 I have went from 230 to 186.3 pounds and a 38 pant size which I squeezed into down to 34 which are a little loose. Thanks for the advice.

You could pack a lunch-box sized Igloo with your lunch if you'd like cold items, or bring nuts, apples, bananas, roasted soynuts or edamame (lots of protein & fiber & good fats).

doesn't look like you got enough calories.....that may be why your weight isn't moving much. But really.....being the same for 3 consecutive mornings is nothing. Wait til it's the same for 3 weeks! THAT'S when you really hit a plateau and should change something. When you're losing weight, it's not GOING to go down every single day. It can even go UP during the course of a week and then back down before the week is over. Weight fluctuates a LOT and can go up 5lbs even in one day. So don't fret over just 3 days of it being the same. I've been going back and forth between 138.6 and 137.6 now for 3 weeks! It might just be that my body is comfortable here and the more i work out, the less likely the scale will move much but I AM getting smaller. That's what matters. Trust me, I do have to remind myself of this often.....that the number on the scale is not as important as how I feel and how my clothes fit. Measuring inches is the REAL and TRUE way to see weight loss.
