No, I didn't track food today. But when I finally sat down at 8:00 pm. I realized I had been on my feet continuously since 8 am this morning. So I don't think I have much to worry about, even considering the fact that I had homemade lactose free ice cream for dessert tonight. But the energy it took to prep and cook all the food on the grill tonight was unbelievable. In fact, I think that when you make your own ice cream from scratch, the work involved should cancel out the calories from eating it.

LOL! Everyone knows the sour in lemonaid cancels out the sugar and toasting bread burns out the calories. Now I know how to get calorie free ice cream. Thanks!

I think that this is especially true since I keep the frozen liner for my ice cream maker in the basement freezer, and that's where I put the ice cream to "cure." So for every batch of ice cream I make, I make at least 3 trips up and down the three flights of stairs to the basement. Seem to me this should cancel out the calories involved in eating the end product.

I agree. Those stairs cancel out a cup of ice cream, at least. :o)
