So I'm loosely following the South Beach phase 2 diet. My husband has lost a ton of weight by eating everything except breads, crackers, chips, potatoes, sweets, and sodas. He eats a lot and the food he chooses always looks great. He will eat pizza once per week- but that's the only time he cheats. I started him eating this way, but I gave up after a couple of weeks. I've seen the weight drop off of him oer the last year (he never exercised- only changed his diet) and I'm totally jealous. Now I'm going to stick with it. I'm allowing myself a pizza day and a sweets cheat day to ease in to this new way of eating. I am walking (the dog) every morning for at least 30 minutes, so I think that should help the pounds come off as well. I'm not going to record every meal right now, because I've done that in the past and though it worked, I couldn't stick with it.
172.5 lb Lost so far: 2.5 lb.    Still to go: 22.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I can totally relate!! I've done weight watchers since Jan and did well but definitley feel I could have done better. I switched to South Beach Phase I to change it up. Did well! Lost 11 pounds. I am going to follow weight watchers again to help with portion control but I plan on choosing carb free foods but bring back some carbs throug my fruits and veggies. Recording food is a pain!! I hope I can complete the challenge. I have a wedding in the begining of October and this would be perfect!!! GOOD LUCK~
