kattay's Journal, 18 August 2015

I did have a wonderful time with the GKs last week. Friday I had the 11 year old, 6 year old, and the 2 year old for the day. Mr. 11 can be a picky bully with the 6 so he was quite the challenge. For the most part, they had a lot of fun together and we were all worn out by the end of the day. Got some cute phone videos of them on the trampoline. My DD also has 4 little dogs that need to be let out on a regular basis. Bottom line, I got plenty of exercise in.

I have been working on lowering the dense carbs and upping the protein. Had a couple of slides. Did have corn chips sprinkled with cheddar cheese one afternoon. Not 100%. As always, a work in progress.

Just noticed... I AM BACK IN The GREEN!! Yay!! Happy Dance!

:) wholefoodnut! Just keeping up with the sports activities is daunting! Thanks HCB! I'm trying. I would like to see better numbers quicker than it took me before, but I will take what I can get as long as it is lower and, hopefully, steady. Thanks izzypup68! I do feel good about the green :)

Kattay, I get to some not all, Junior high sports are nearly impossible as the games start @ 4:00 in most cases. No way can I get there after work, the drive time and they would be over before I arrived. One lives 2 hours away, I love watching her as she puts her soul into what she does, it's also inspired her to get good grades as she cannot play without them. getting those grades has made her proud of herself.

Wholefoodnut..Congrats on her good grades! Sports are a super confidence builder in most people, no matter the age. I hope she keeps both up!
