=( This gain is all water. I jumped out of bed and was out the door in a hurry this morning I knew the scale was going to be high. I had no time for my normal morning routine.

Starting since last weekend I had a tough week. Last weekend, the town festival with way, way too much food. My stomach was sick most of the week in recovery mode. Monday I went to zumba and then it was canceled the rest of the week >.<... Usually no worries because I have my bike. I got on the stationary Wednesday night and made it to the 15 minute mark when one of the pedals sheared right off the bike. OMG! I cried... a lot. It may sound strange but that bike is my friend and they do not make this bike anymore I searched for hours. I found one on Ebay, local pickup only. If only Illinois wasn't so far away. Thursday morning I drove to the next town over and picked up a new bike at Walmart. My guy put it together pretty quickly and I was set. I got on the thing and my knee immediately started hurting. I tried adjusting the seat a few times and made sure the resistance was at the lowest, my knee was not happy. I made it to five minutes and returned the bike on Friday. The bike that broke is an air bike that allows you to have stationary arms or movable arms for an upper body workout. The body also is set up to feel like a real pedal bike. The new bike was a magnetic resistance type that you have to lean slightly forward on. Something about the set up just really threw my knee.

On my way home from the bike return I stopped off at my cousin's shop. I showed him the pedal and asked if it could be welded. He said yes and made my day. He had it on the bike by that afternoon but when they tested it the weld didn't hold and it fell off so, sadly, I left it overnight. He was able to put it back on again and I just got home with the bike. Though they tested it I'm praying the weld holds because today was another food intense day and I need my bike.

I'm off to test it and I am crossing my fingers.

Sounds like a bad week! But your track record over the long-term is so good, I know, and I think you know, things are going to pick up again. Good luck with the bike, hope the weld holds.
