watching my diet very carefully. I have started a medication pill to lower my A1C. I am determined to get a handle on this. Apparently sugar is not working for me in any good way. I found out fruits which i thought were ok in moderation, I simply cannot process. (canteloupe, watermelon)

Yes, they say too many carbohydrates is the problem. Carbs all turn to sugars in the end. You may consider a low carb nutrition plan.

correct, I have been on Paleo for some time which is a lower carb, but still allowed fruits, I am fine tuning my diet even further lots of meats and having fish two/three nights a week and veggies much less fruit. I am allowing 1 small apple with my tuna salad a couple of times a week at lunch. This is working so far so good!

yes my Dr. suggested more berries. I add them to smoothies. I have kept up for over two years with calories and nutrition and could lose just so much and just stopped. That is when My Dr. suspected we needed to check my A1C. Thanks for all help or suggestions offered here. I am appreciative
