didn't log anything yesterday, didn't work out and ate a few non low carb bites of this and that. And I'm ok with it bc it was small amts and in moderation and it was rice and beans not chips and sodas. I slept in late, watched shows with my husband, made plans for the weekend and just basically decompressed, It was wonderful however I did have some but of my husband's ice cream and it messed me up bad.. I had real tummy troubles and have decided I cant stomach dairy anymore bc this happened when I had some bites of my husband's cheese cake. My mom thinks it bc I cut it out my stummy just isnt used to it in large amts. MEH. I'm over it. Back on track today , got a walk in this morning and will be working on the house today bc Mike's 18th bday party is tomorrow. I switched my work schedule tomorrow so I can get out early so Ill need to wake up early to squeeze a morning walk in. Hope everyone has a awesome day today..

Good choice :). Dairy is another product the foodindustry made us believe is good for us.

It may not be all dairy I do ok with cheese and cottage cheese but not with ice cream unless it's lactos free. Only you know if all affects you or not. It's good to decompress sometimes.

I'm a big fan of yogurt to get my calcium. Also, I drink almond milk, which is much lower in fat and calories. Then there's ice cream ...

Relieved that I am still tolerant of ice cream as it is not a problem for me to pass up...if only I could establish an intolerance for chocolate! We are planning to decompress this weekend finally and I am not bringing into the house something that I can't have as a treat for DH. BTW, what has Mike decided to do....now, that he is such an old man?

Gwen, he made navy weight and now they are asking for a lot of medical records from like when he was 2 . I don't live in that city but his dad does so he is getting all that together but its taking some time bc its 3 different dr's SO we know he wont go until 2016 if at all now.. SO Mr. Mike has registered for fall classes and is putting in a few job applications. He is going to use his scholarship while we continue to work on the Navy stuff. I got to give it him, he is persistent and hasn't quit no matter what the hurdles have been.. Im glad he registered and is keeping busy.

HBD Mike! Have a great party for him tomorrow! Glad to hear things are falling together for him even if he has to wait a bit longer. Lesson in Patience, not a fun lesson. I know I lack them these days and having trouble focusing because of my reno and i need to focus on the business while waiting my turn to work.

I quit dairy and have not missed it. I use almond milk. but I can tolerate ice cream if I want to get all the darn carbs. I had ice cream once in over six months.
