Despite the holiday weekend, I stuck to doing my First Friday of the Month Benchmark Challenge. As I was off of work, I did the routine at home. My time for burpees suffered a little as I did them out on the lawn and my mat kept hopping up on me a few times. I sort of equate the experience to trying to compare your time on a trail run to your time on a road run??? Oh well. Here's the results:
1 round: Max. Dead Hang Pull-ups: Still at 9+ (again, my eyes were at the bar on #10...SO CLOSE to my goal of 10!)
100 Full Burpees for time: 10:02.
I had a great 4th of July weekend. Our local yoga studio is running an arm balance class for the summer and I managed to get into the class and had a blast! Some of those poses look intimidating, but done right they really are fun!
