Getting ready to pack up the car and head to the park. We are kayaking and grilling today. I hope I get some good kayak time today, but I have a feeling I'll get stuck with my son's inflatable one while hubby uses the new one. (I bought another kayak this week, used from my neighbor) I hope that everyone has a joyous and safe Fourth of July. TOM

have fun! I just bought hubby a kayak for his birthday last week. He wanted to use it today but the weather is quite rainy. He did get to put it in the Potomac River on Thursday and he was hoping to go into the Shenandoah this weekend. Oh well, eventually. Enjoy the day!

I got a kayak for myself a while ago but the new one is the hubsters. Kind of, he thinks it's his but I'll use it more. My ugly one is actually a better yak but the new one is longer. He's excited about it. Now I just have to put on a trailer hitch on my car so we can take 3 out at once. (Someone is giving me a tandem kayak this week, I just have to pick up) My mom is giving me a boat trailer, I can convert it into a yak trailer pretty easily. If I can find someone to trade the tandem for a single we will all have a decent yak to take out. Well, not counting the inflatable, they are not so great for what we do. My son has the inflatable but there are oyster beds and other stuff where we take them out, so not ideal.

2 mile walk after we got back. Ouch, I am sore. My son has turned into a walking monster. I wanted to do just a mile but mister I want more tv time convinced me to walk longer. He's almost at bonus time for steps for today and once he hits his goal every 1000 steps past that equals 30 minutes of tv. Plus he kayaked for an hour so he's getting 1 hour from that. He just has to hit his goal first. In way it's good, he isn't letting me slack when it comes to exercise, even if I don't want to.
