AH! The two week plateau has ended! I couldn't be more proud of myself, honestly. This Adkins thing may be working for me after all! This past week, I overcame A LOT of temptation. On Tuesday (the same day as my last weigh in) I went to work and one of my doctors offered to go buy us all something from Sycamore... ugh! A chocolate milkshake or a hot turtle sundae sounded amazing! But, I toughed it out (even though my brain was like, "why not? You haven't lost any weight in two weeks, it's okay! Just eat it, it will make you feel better!")
So, I have reached my goal for the 4th of July which was 155. My next goal? I think I am going to shoot for 150 for my birthday, August 1st. I have the 4th of July and Alex's birthday standing in my way, and I do plan to cheat (just a little!!!) so I want to give myself a reasonable goal in the meantime. 4 weeks to lose 4 pounds. I REALLY hope I can do it!
