My son, dog, and I walked 2.2 miles today. We stopped when we turned around to give the dog some water. The whole time I was thinking I do not want to do this today. I still did it anyway. We walked an avg. of 3.3 miles per hour. Eventually we will get up to 3.5 miles as training for a 5k. I know the 5k is 3.1 miles but that will only make it easier to actually run it when the time comes in November. After we get the distance completed, we will work on time.
