Been very busy this summer. Drinking more water than ever but still able to lose slowly. I went to an All You Can Eat Buffet here in Vegas a few days ago. 9 months ago or 100 pounds ago... I used to visit the All You Can Eat Buffet's all the time. I just had a plate of tuna salad and some steamed vegetables and small amount of roasted chicken and was totally full. I saw this huge man filling up his plate with Fried Chicken and he was smiling while digging for the largest pieces at the buffet. I realize that I used to be just like him. I used to love eating huge amounts but hated the feeling of being so full that it was uncomfortable. Part of me wanted to tell this huge man that I used to be like you and it does not have to be that way. But I very rarely dine out now and realize that most of the people that attend these All You Can Eat Buffets are actually going there to eat all they can... not all they should.

Great job on your accomplishments. I don't go to the buffets any more, figure what's the point and all that will happen is I'll be tempted to eat more than I should and stuff that I should keep away from.

It's when I'm at the supermarket and I see large people stacking up on chips, soda, cakes - all the very cheap stuff actually. I want to cry out to them ' you don't know the damage you're doing to yourself - they'll be a price to pay later'. What you save now by stocking up on junk food, you'd best be putting it into a separate bank account for you'll be spending on medicine later, with all the suffering as interest.

Congrats on the continued downward trend. Buffets are tempting but for folks like us, it's also a life saver in that there is variety and we can go for the healthier/healthy stuff. Once did one and saw a guy pop a button on his shirt. That was back in the old days. We thought it was funny and he laughed too.

SO very proud of you and how you have made it a lifestyle change - not a "diet"

You are doing great, and I can relate about eating at the buffet years ago nothing to do about 4 or 5 plates plus one of desert, now it is maybe 1 1/2 mainly crab legs on the plate

Nice drop and it's better if you don't say anything to anyone who didn't ask you about weight loss, they will just get mad and insulted.
