Eating has been inconsistant the past several days with my crazy schedule and exercise just the walking I have gotten in. Today I think will be pick up tamales and maybe an ear of corn (a quick microwave in the husk) on my way home.
GD is playing for the tournament championship in her age group tonight @ 6:00. YAY for an early game, I might get some sleep. The rain is supposed to hold off until late tonight/early am. The boys lost last night so have come in 4th. This will end summer ball for those 4. Of course there are 2 more grandkids still playing ball.
Sleep is in my plans for the long weekend...LOL

Nice evening though it turned into 2 games as they were tied for 1st. They lost so came in 2nd. GD played really well though she didn't get her $5 homerun for the season. Maybe she will get it yet this year, she is on the JV high school team (fall softball).

Love hearing about your grandchildren and their activities. Mine lives far away and sometimes I just hang on vicariously to others stories and think about a time in the near future when maybe I will be able to be a real grandma to my own. A restful weekend is what you need!

Gwen, I understand, I have one set that used to live a mile from and they moved to Colorado. Now they are back and will hopefully start getting to see more of them. Tht is the one with the new baby

Heading for bed after a reasonable dinner and a few things done inside. It keeps raining off and on. Tornado warnings just a few miles south and severe storm warnings, nothing here so far. Not even threatening clouds but pretty black to the south. The weather radio keeps going off, I hope it is quiet the rest of the night.
