At first this diet is difficult - getting use to rules Once you get use to the rules it becomes easy. It is a 30 day challenge - no weighing. After 2 weeks you feel great - lots of energy. Week 3 & 4 you'll get what they call the Carb Flu (total feeling like the flu). Your body is detoxing from the sugars and refined carbs. But per try and hold out. When you weigh in at the 30 days and lost weight (I lost 12.6 lbs) it makes it worth it. Hard to go back. Other results of the first 30 days - My mom lost 5 lbs, friend Julee lost 11 lbs & her friend 18 lbs. Another hard thing is reading all the labels at first. You have to look at condiments all new. There isn't a lot you can use. But we found some at Whole Foods, Healthy Planet & Longos. Couldn't find a ketchup but learned to live without. People in the US apparently there is a brand at Wholefoods.
