I like this diet a lot. I've been on it for about a week. It helps keep my arthritis inflammation down some, and is easy to do. I love salads with spinach/dark greens, so all I had to do was to change my dressing choice. I make a dressing out of greek yogurt and hot sauce. My main problem has been that I've never really had to diet before, and gained a ton of weight after an operation that caused my arthritis to get really bad. My problem was that I never changed my portions sizes to match my new physical limitations. I'm fortunate that I carry my weight well, but moving around is very uncomfortable with the added pressure on my arthritic back. I don't get any consistent support from my family, so I'm kind of on my own with this. I read "The Greek Diet" and it's helped me learn quite a bit about the science behind the foods in the Mediterranean Diet, so I feel well-informed, but I'm still nervous. Good luck to us all, Jen
