I weighed in at 227.1! I can't believe how great this feels. It's been years since I was at this weight. My body has so much energy. I actually found myself jogging on the the treadmill again. I was using the hand weights and just going like crazy. It's nice to work up a sweat.
I went to the doctor yesterday. My bp is 120/80. I think they were surprised how good it is considering my weight. The doctor was so nice. I was afraid he would grill me on how I lost the weight but he didn't. I am getting the full range of blood tests from thyroid to cholesterol. That will be interesting. I'm not worried about diabetes anymore. First of all, no one in my family has ever had it on either side. Secondly, I haven't had sugar or over 20 net carbs in months. I think that is the best I can do. When I think of how I used to abuse my body with all that sugar! Then, all that bread! I used to bake the best bread, pies, and cookies! I even used to add extra sugar to my banana breads in a topping. Now, I have one teaspoon of splenda in my coffee. That's it!
Time to go to aqua aerobics!
