Happy Birthday to Me! It was an over emotional day that didn't amount to much lol. With the loving support of my family I was given cookie ice cream sandwiches, Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cupcake Dessert, A Box of Chocolates and Candy Bars.... I literally wanted to scream. But I held strong, I had a teeny bite of my daughters ice cream sandwich, and a finger lick of the frosting from the DQ dessert and then I whipped up a low carb chocolate treat (heavy whipping cream, dark chocolate cocoa power, splenda and a dash of sugar free caramel syrup) and I indulged in a diet friendly treat. I did go overboard on my carbs, but I'm not going to sweat it. With the choices I made today I'm feeling pretty proud of my willpower and I even managed to find a few minutes to hop on the elliptical.. Hopefully weigh in day tomorrow will have me smiling!
