jmb3450's Journal, 28 May 2015

At this point I'm on track to meet or beat my Saturday morning goal of 204 lbs. Got in a good hard cardio workout last night for the first time in a while. Sweated buckets even with a fan blowing on high...sweat equity into building a healthier me. Also back to 16:8 IF this morning. It feels good to really be focused and on track like I need to be. So many things in life are not in our direct control but this is something that I DO have the ability to control and do something about. Have a great Thursday!

Guess I didn't realize you were doing 16:8 too. You sound so focused - A Man With A Plan! I need to get back on board. BTW - that is one reason I should not eat anything after dinner.

Thanks Buffy. I haven't been as focused for a while but I'm feeling the motivation now like I was in the beginning. It's a good feeling. We can both do this, just have to keep the end result and reason for doing it in the first place foremost in our minds.

That's what I always say, even if everything else is out of our control, eating healthy is what we can always do.

It's all about control, isn't it? Overriding old (food/sloth) temptations that felt good momentarily for the new habits that last so much longer - the size 32!

Sounds good. I sweated my buckets this morning and I am feeling really good now. If someone would just take away my constantly-begging-for-pizza children, I would be so good at this whole thing! :)

Hi Jim, sounds like you've got it all together, & control is really what it's all about, isn't it? We control everything we put into our mouths, & how much & how often we exercise. You are inspiring me too!
