Not overeating should be really easy at home for the next few days. My combo microwave oven died so I can't even have Lean Cuisine and that's about all there is in the house. Finished up the shredded wheat for dinner last night and had one of the two remaining cereal bars for breakfast this morning.
The oven/microwave is one of those really expensive ones that came with the house. The last time I had it fixed it cost over $1,000. This time we've decided all we really need for now is a good microwave, so one is on order. Meanwhile I still have a good frig, a stove-top, crock pots, etc. Now I just need to get more real food into the house.

Sorry, real food would be good though instead of processed.

I hear you, but since I don't cook and time always seems to be at a premium (working days and nights) sometimes my success if just NOT going to the fast food restaurants. So tonight, knowing there is no food in the house and being so tired I was afraid I'll fall asleep on the way home, I forced the car past McDonalds and into the grocery store parking lot. Got a turkey sub on wheat with a lot of veggies, picked up some items for snack and breakfast, and was thrilled to discover apple butter has no fat! Who knew? I love apple butter.

Right apple butter is also fairly low in calories. It is a great substitute for butter. Start cooking, it will reap many benefits with your health not eating processed foods. Start reading those ingredients. Sorry they scare me.
