No doctor today because I'm actually feeling a little better. I think whatever was plugged in my ear has unplugged because it feels pretty good today. Thanks goodness!! I'm still a little plugged in my nose, but I think I'm on the mend.

This has been a harder week with my eating. I think the first week I was really thinking about the diet and what I can and can't have, then this week I have my foods ready and haven't had to put much thought into getting lunch and snacks ready, but I find myself wanting to grab a chocolate or a donut from the kitchen, I haven't but I've thought about it. I've thought about how good a donut would be and I can't have one, so that makes me want one even more. I haven't given in and I'm not going to, but this feeling crumby and being on a diet has been tough! Ultimately though I think I'm learning something. I know that just because I don't feel good doesn't give me an excuse to eat junk, and I've struggled with that for years.

This weekend is supposed to be rainy, so we'll see if I finally get my garden planted. My hubby, who never helps with the planting, says "It doesn't take that long and it's not that hard anyway. You can probably do it in the rain." Did he ever get a look for that comment! Hopefully I'll be able to get my poor little seeds and plants in the ground so I can have some fresh veggies this summer.
