Last night was a hard night for me with my eating. I really wanted to eat junk food, but I knew I couldn't. It was a struggle, but I told myself not to undo this diet, that I am about a week and a half in and I can't give up, and I succeeded. Today is going to be the same with cravings and I know it's because I'm not feeling well. Whenever I don't feel well I eat junk, or comfort foods, because I just don't care. Now is a real test because I can't eat that stuff on this diet, so I just have to struggle through and make good choices. I'm still working on keeping my calories under control and I'm really hoping that by this weekend this cold is done and that will help with craving junk.

Other than just not feeling good right now, I don't have much new going on. I hope everyone is having a great week!

Maybe you are thirsty; try drinking some warm herbal tea or just some water to see if it helps with the cravnigs. When you have a cold it's hard to feel if you are a bit dehydrated. You can do this; we are all here for you.

I hope you feel better!! If you're hungry, you should try and eat more of the food "allowed" on your diet, and maybe focus more on not eating the foods you shouldn't instead of calorie counting. Remember, the goal of these 6 weeks is to figure out what is irritating your body. Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestions and well wishes! I definitely will keep up on my water intake and focus on what I'm putting in instead of counting so much. Feeling good is the ultimate goal of this diet, so I should stop worrying so much if I eat a few calories over my RDI. Besides with some tweaking I'm sure I'll find a good balance eventually.
