What the hell!!! All the work I've been doing in the garden seems not to help with weight loose. I should just sit on the couch and vegetate. Not eating all junk food does not help too. I should just give it up and do my own thing.

Are you tracking your food? Are you drinking water? Are you following the plan correctly? Any activity helps burn calories, but you need to make sure you are burning off more than you take in. You can eat too much, even on Atkins. Have you taken your measurements? If you feel this isn't working for you, find a plan that you enjoy and will help you lose. Even a pound a week is great.

Gardening does burn calories.....but you still have to eat less calories than you burn to see the difference. Cooking for yourself also burns calories. Housework also burns calories. Try using your exercise tracker in the Fat Secret App and you will be surprised how many calories you burn each day.
I've heard that a pound (of fat) is worth 3500 calories. This means that for every 3500 calories you burn you should lose about a lb.....as long as you don't exceed the caloric input for a sensible eating plan.
Sounds simple, but I understand, the devil is in the details.
Good luck and keep journaling.
