crabby Kat's Journal, 11 May 2015

This week had it's ups and downs, but mostly UPS! I was able to try Shakeology for 3 days, and I pretty much lost my craving for sweets!!! I also had more energy, wasn't constipated (very good in my world), and was more sharp, mentally. I really made good food choices, not by force of will, but because that is what I wanted! Loving it, buying more. I'll try a month's supply, and if I continue to have good results, it will be worth the expense. What I save in chocolate and lattes will probably pay for it, lol! I'll probably cut way back in my baking, too.

I also signed up for Zumba Instructor Training, so I'm stepping outside my comfort zone, and really feel alive.

My partner and I went to a friend's retirement party and Varakai, a Cirque de Soleil performance here in Portland last night. Wonderful experience all around, and they had healthy snack food at the party, which I made my dinner out of.

See you soon, my friends. My partner wants to use this computer.

Wonderfully exciting to take instructor training! Great idea! I love Cirque and have been to three different shows. Happy you are feeling well these days!

My kids' martial arts instructor gave me a sample of Shakeology. I liked it, but it was just too expensive. I liked the idea of a protein shake before my morning workout those, so I did some more investigation. I ended up ordering IdealShake. It was tasty and less expensive. I know there are some differences in the micronutrients (that the instructor always pointed out to me!), but it has served my purposes just great. That was about a year ago and I am still having a shake nearly every morning.
