I am so tired of dieting I just wish that I could find something that really works for me to lose and keep it off. I hope this helps.

I thought I had it licked I was at my fittest ...running, swimming , biking. Ran a marathon did a half iron man , I was wearing size 4 jeans. Then life got in the way and here I am again back in a size 12 started at 183 pounds,, so embarrassed .And Yes I know it sucks,, but I love Atkins and I think this might be the key for me . My body is so carb sensitive ,, I just cannot eat carbs,,, the bad ones . Lets do this :-)

I am the same way,I cannot eat them either.Thank you so much for your encouragement. I am also a size 12, 167 pounds 5'4". I am so miserable but I have hope that I can do this. This is the third day that I have stopped eating after 5pm. I know that's early but it's best for me. So far so good.☺

Todtam: Be encouraged and stay steadfast. Carbs are not my friend either but I am making new friends called protein and good fats. It is not easy but you will find the unique formula that works for you - I am on that journey, I call it finding "ish". Hang in there - FS is a supportive forum and you can always come here for support, advice and even a rant or two. Stay strong!

It took me a long time to find what worked for me. Low carb wasn't for me as I simply could not eat all that meat, it made me feel sick to my stomach all the time and hungry. I realized I had to find something that wasn't a diet and was a way of changing my eating forever. something I could live with. Losing was slow but I'm at my goal and have maintained it for almost a year. Remember different plans work for different people.

The biggest and most effective thing I learned was listen to your body. It tells you what it likes and what it doesn't. Your brain tells you what you want to hear.

everyone has great points,, yes listen to your body for sure . Today I feel awesome,, still on track and plugging away. Tomorrow I weigh in and I am excited . A gain or a lose who knows,, it doesn't matter I guess because I will continue on this path of Health and Wellness .TYJ

I will listen to my body. I feel great I am doing well on the diet. I just have to make sure I count my carbs better, but even without the right amount of carbs I feel so much better. I am very afraid of weighing in though.
