I FINALLY went out on the bike. Not a long ride, though. I got the toe clips/straps fixed finally. Pumped up the tires and did my "torture hill". Up and up and up. 3.5 miles, an 800 foot climb. Thought I'd make it to the top, but forgot to bring my asthma inhaler and when a bunch of two-stroke motorcycles roared past me, the exhaust fumes did me in. Wheezing, I turned the bike around and cruised downhill. Hit a max downhill speed of 38 miles per hour. Total distance 7.8 miles, took 40 minutes...about 32 of those minutes going up.
