I have a cold and want to eat everything in sight. On some primitive level, eating is associated with feeling better. I'm surprised my numbers continue to go down.
193.6 lb Lost so far: 21.4 lb.    Still to go: 53.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

That is very odd. Usually with a cold, nasal passages get stuffed, you lose your sense of smell and hence, food is less appealing. I did do a 'study' on my last cold. My hands and feet were freezing, and I read that that's because all of the blood go to your vitals to help combat the cold (or something like that), and maybe the loss of smell is to help in that combat because it takes energy to digest. So, it would stand to reason that if you eat less, you'll get more energy. Anyway, that's what I took out of it. lol Hope you feel better. But for sure, eating makes you feel better. That's why it's called 'comfort food'. And even,sometimes I realise that food is appeasing to me. Like a pacifier for a child!
