I had a problem with this when I originally hit my 215 goal. I decided to revise my goal weight further down to 195, which has allowed keep eating fewer calories. However, I am exercising more and trying to slow the weight loss. I have been trying to push my calories up to 2000-2100. I have had lots of trouble with this. I tend to significantly over or under shoot my target range. I think I just need to "retrain the brain". Still frustrating and scary. You work so hard to get where you want to be and you get in a routine. I am afraid to change the routine since the routine worked. Keep experimenting and let us know when you figure it out. I have about 3-4 weeks until I have to really worry about this again.

Yes, people say maintenance is more difficult at times but I am sure you will master it!

You are so right Matt! I've been doing this weight loss regimen for over a year now. And I knew that when I got to my goal I was going to have to start a new journey. I was tslikg to my sister the other day about how scary it is that I can see where people would develop an eating disorder. I sincerely doubt that will happen to me because I love food. But I can see how easy it would be. Now I just have to figure out how much I need. We'll see what happens next week.

Letty I'm still so happy for you. You will figure the maintenance out; & then help others do the same. You got this.

I struggled with maintaining my wieght loss last time I reached goal. Its easier to keep track of calories and lose weight then to start eating "regular" food and lose your focus. I ended up gaining most of it back.

Yes I will figure it out and then pass on what I learn.
