NatashaChiara's Journal, 25 April 2015

So... I have a few things I think contributed to this one. I'm pretty sure this is all water weight. I had been drinking 196 oz of water a day plus about 50 oz of tea. My system felt fine with the amount of hydration I'd been getting but I was wondering if water retention was part of the reason I'd been jumping back and forth between 198 and 197lbs recently. At the beginning of the week I decided I'd lower my intake to 168oz. I measure my intake by drinking out of the big 28 oz VOSS bottles, I love glass! I went from seven bottles to six and I think that is the biggest reason for this drop. A few days ago I also, at my endocrinologist's request, started up on metformin again... >,< so that might have a little to do with this too. Who knows... I'll take it and hopefully it'll hold for tomorrow.

Yes, its hard to tell sometimes what is going on with our bodies. Water can the scale fluctuate like crazy. I can't believe you drink all that water, lol! Most of the stuff I have read, you only need 8 cups a day (unless hot or you are very active). But if it makes you feel okay and is okay with your doctor! Look at your chart. You are doing amazing!
