Seriously didn't expect this loss. Guess I'm not doing as bad as I though. But the soda's are already showing how bad they are for me. In the short time that I've been in F it mode the yeast infection under my arm is already trying to come back. Though I am wondering if my deoderant may have something to do with it. I use an all natural, homemade deodorant instead of antiperspirant. I stopped using it last time this happened to be able to put the cream on and I've only been using it again for about the same time my diet has reversed. I don't know but I think my diet has more to do with it.

Anyway, on to better news. This week is going to be busy. I've got seedlings to transplant, all this rain gave us a good woodear harvest that I have to dehydrate, and the mulberries are ripening. Picking the mulberries is just the beginning. After cleaning them and removing the steams I will be making my second ever batch of mulberry jelly. Which went over well last year. This year though I'm going with no sugar added so that it will be healthier for us. I have been wondering if I could use some honey to put a little sweetness back into it. Anyone out there ever made jelly and have any suggestion? I'm all ears. Happy journey everyone.

Congrats on your weight loss! Maybe you should read a little more upon the yeast infection to see what may be causing it.

Meohmy, after taking your advice and further looking into it, I found that it is probably both things attributing to it. By not using anti-perspirant there is more moisture but at the same time it couldn't grow if my sugar wasn't higher than it should be. Due to the recent link between anti-perspirant and breast cancer I will not go back to using it, so my only recourse is to get my sugar back down. Thanks for the nudge and the support everyone.

I make lots and lots of jams and jellies. I have to say I have never had good luck with reduced sugar recipes. They either don't jell properly or taste like poop. Maybe I just didn't have very good recipes though. The only one I ever did that was passable was a strawberry freezer jam so I don't think I can be much help with that. Frankly if you want to add honey I would just go with the sugar in the first place to make sure it sets right. Let me know how it turns out, I'd love a decent lower sugar recipe, I miss my jams.

Mullberrys! My trees haven't even budded out yet. I pick the berries and give them, jars and sugar to nice ladies who make me jelly.
